To help achieve your self realization, take about five to ten minutes right now. Turn off your cell phone, turn off the TV and the radio.

Sit comfortably. If you are sitting on a chair, place your feet apart from each other, flat on the floor. Remove your shoes. Rest your hands palms up, left hand on the left leg, right hand on the right leg.

Don't be tense, and don't fall asleep. Throughout, keep your left hand, palm up, resting on or near your left knee, fingers stretched slightly towards Shri Mataji's photograph. If your mind intrudes with many observations and questions, tell it to take a break for the next 5 minutes.


If your attention is all over the place, or distracted by many thoughts, try to pull yourself into the present moment by focusing on your breathing.
