Five Week Course

Topics each week sometimes follow a five-week program, and sometimes follow an 18-week program. You are welcome to attend any time. Previous weeks' handouts are always available.

Course Outline

Every week, whoever joins the class for the first time enjoys the experience of self realization, which is profound and unforgettable. Each week includes a demonstration of Sahaja Yoga techniques, a short lecture, a video presentation, and a workshop to practice the meditation.

Week 1 Becoming Aware of our Subtle Being

- How to awaken your own spiritual energy

- The significance of Shri Mataji's discovery of Sahaja Yoga

Week 2 Feeling Vibrations

- How to purify the attention

- How to sustain the flow of spiritual energy

Week 3 The Subtle System and Kundalini

- How a system of channels and energy centers in the spinal cord controls our emotional, physical and mental functioning

- The mothering, nurturing power within each of us

- How to maintain and strengthen the flow of kundalini energy

Week 4 The Qualities of the Chakras

- The relationship between our behavior and the state of the chakras

- Checking the condition of your own chakras

Week 5 What is Meditation?

- How to enter the state of thoughtless awareness without effort

- Introduction to cleansing techniques to improve meditation

Enjoyable and informative, these five weeks will empower you to heal yourself, your home and your workplace. You can attend all five, or take part whenever your schedule allows. Sahaja Yoga is pure knowledge and therefore always free.
